Training and Education

The Canadian Emergency Management College located in Ottawa, and operated by the federal government, offers courses on the management of a multi-service/agency response to an emergency. Courses, seminars and workshops also address other aspects of emergency planning and management.

The College pays for transportation, lunches and accommodations for municipal and provincial employees who are taking CEMC courses. Applications for all courses should be submitted at least two months before the course begins, using the CEMC Application for Course Enrollment form. Your local EMO coordinator should approve the form before sending it to SaskEMO.
