In the 2008-09 budget, the government provided increased funding for eleven police officers who will work in the Internet Child Exploitation Unit (ICE) to protect Saskatchewan children from sexual exploitation over the Internet.

Judicial Interim Release is a program that provides intensive supervision and support to youth in the community:

  • between the time of arrest and their first court appearance;
  • between court appearances;
  • and/or while awaiting the outcome of their case.
